NFA wetland specialists have decades of wetland delineation and Clean Water Act permitting experience. The firm's principal biologist is a Certified Professional Wetland Scientist, and he and the firm's other specialists have worked in the Bay Area, Coast Ranges, Central Valley, foothills, and Sierra Nevada range. They have delineated a wide variety of wetlands (including tidal, seasonal, and riparian wetlands and vernal pools) with extensive experience on vernal pool complexes. They have conducted wetland assessments and delineations on more than 300,000 acres in the region and have an excellent verification record with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
NFA conducts delineations using sub-meter GPS technology and prepares Wetland Delineations using a standard format designed to conform to the 1987 Corps of Engineers manual and meet or exceed minimum standards established by several California Corps Districts. |
