Natural Resource Specialist
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a motivated Biological/Wetland Scientist with a B.S or M.S in biology or a related field. Applicants must have more than five years of environmental consulting experience. The position is a combination of office and field work tied together with excellent project management skills.
Minimum Requirements:
- BS or MS in Biology or related field.
- 5+ years experience in environmental consulting.
- Demonstrated project management skills; ability to multi-task.
- Technical competence in wetland regulatory knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability of preparation of multi-faceted permit applications (404, 401, 1602).
- Experience conducting and writing wetland delineations.
- Functionality using GPS to collect field data, and understanding of GIS to process GPS data.
- Ability to conduct sensitive species evaluations.
